Job Title: Welder / Fabricator 

Wage:            Start on £9/£14 per hour Dependent upon Experience

Hours:            40 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 8:00AM and 4:30PM

Job Type:        Permanent

We have a great opportunity for a time served Welder / fabricator with experience working with aluminium, stainless and mild steel fabrications, TIG/MIG welding is essential.  Aluminium TIG would be an advantage. 

Candidate will be based in our Ellesmere Port workshop must be flexible and professional with a forward-thinking attitude and good attention to detail, the successful candidate must have or be able to achieve a MIG plate coding. 

With this position there is opportunity to develop.

Job Title: CNC Miller and Turner

​Wage: £12ph - £15ph based on experience

Hours: 40 hours per week. Monday – Friday 8.00am -4.30pm

Job Type: Full Time - Permanent

We are looking for a CNC Miller & Turner to join our team - you will be producing small batches of precision metal and plastic components such as cylinder liners, fixtures & valves to fine tolerances with minimal supervision. ​

Your role will involve programming new design components from engineering drawings and editing existing programmes to produce finished parts. ​High levels of attention to detail are essential, as is the ability to read engineering drawings and use manual measuring equipment to check your own work.

You will need to have experience in a similar role and be able to work well as part of a team. ​

Experience with Hurco Winmax Software or Conversational programming would advantageous but not essential as training will be provided.

​Job Skills and Requirements:

·         Keen attention to detail

·         Problem solving skills Apt math skills

·         Strong verbal and written communication skills

·         Able to use precision measuring instruments

·         Knowledge of feeds and speeds

·         Knowledge of G-code

·         Knowledge of Hurco controls would be an advantage​

Job Title: Skilled Building Maintenance / Handy Man​

Wage: Negotiable Depending on Experience

Hours:  40 hours per week. Monday – Friday 8.00am -4.30pm

Job Type:    Full Time / Part Time. May suit semi-retired individual.​

We are looking for a self-motivated jobbing builder / handy man to carry out general maintenance within a fast-growing engineering company at our workshop, the hours are flexible, and the role will include small projects such as, upgrading the canteen and wash room some plumbing and joinery skills are a must. Electrical knowledge would be an advantage but not essential, a driving licence is essential.

·          Carrying out small building projects and general repairs​ and replacing obsolete sanitary ware and plumbing

Job Title: Apprentice Maintenance Engineer

 

Wage: To Be Discussed 

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 8:00AM and 4:30PM 

Duration: Permanent

 

We have an excellent opportunity for an Apprentice Maintenance Engineer looking to gain an excellent skillset within a contract maintenance company.

 

The role involves a mix of planned and reactive maintenance on site and at our workshop. You will be teamed up with one of our skilled engineers who will pass on knowledge and skills.

 

Typical duties will include attending various local manufacturing sites, diagnosing and repairing faults on a wide range of production machinery involving hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and mechanical systems.

 

The Person:               

Experience with hands on mechanical assembly would be advantageous

Excellent communication skills

Pro-active approach and the ability to learn new skills

Full clean UK driving license would be advantageous

A keen interest in practical, hands-on activities

The drive and determination to excel during a challenging 4-year apprenticeship.

5 GCSEs at A-C grade, including Maths, English, Science, and other relevant subjects such as D&T.
